Glastron
The best reasons to buy your new Glastron at Regina Marine
“The SSV” (super Stable Vee) hull design on all of Glastron’s Bowriders is one of the best hull designs in the industry. First developed in 1977, it is a timeless design Glastron continues to refine and improve. It’s quick to plane (with minimal bowrise), stays on plane at low speeds (very important for watersports with young kids), stable at high speeds and tracks tight in the turns, and the combination of light weight and hydrodynamic efficiency results in another big advantage: exceptional performance and excellent fuel economy.
“DTHC or Double Truss Hull Construction.”
Glastron’s one-piece composite fiberglass stringer system in Runabout models 22 feet or less in length, provides unparalleled strength and rigidity which helps eliminate deck and hull twisting. It runs from bow to stern and is engineered to fit snuggly and evenly where the stringer system and hull edges meet. It is fully finished and gelcoated so the lower storage compartments are smooth, easy to wipe clean, with no absorption of mildew or odors. And the best feature of all, no wood to rot or deteriorate.
“Component Parts”. Glastron component parts like windshields; gauges, hardware and fasteners are all purchased from the most reputable brand name suppliers. No “off shore” or “look alike” parts are found on a Glastron boat.
“Power Choice”. A Glastron boat can be purchased with your choice of outboard and stern drive power. Most boat companies only use 1 engine brand.
“Fully Lined Interiors” All Glastron (with the exception of the SSV) runabouts have a one piece deck that lines the interior of the boat. The side walls, consoles, and floor are all made from one fluid piece of fibreglass. This process costs a little more but provides a much quieter ride and more rigid boat. Finished with removeable snap-in carpet, the fully lined interior will last forever. Most boat companies use a ring deck with open sides which isn’t as strong or as quiet. Their fibreglass floors are then glued down and removable snap-in carpet is installed. It may look similar but don’t be fooled, it is not the same!
