Ken’s new pontoon had a pin hole in a weld that was allowing one pontoon to slowly take on water while it was sitting in the Regina Beach Yacht Club. Read more of the story below…
We put the boat back in last Thursday and as you could appreciate I was watching it like a mother bear however she seems solid now. I had ten people on it on the weekend and when they got off at the end of the day it went right back to the water line that it sits at when it is empty.
As an old pilot I will be watching it closely for a while yet but I am thinking that we are in the clear now thanks to you guys at Regina Marine. Lots of people were asking about what happened at the RBYC but as I have said to everyone, a boat is just a machine built by people and every now and then things will get missed in the factory but it will be the dealer that you purchased it from that you will need to be able to count on and in this case you guys came through in spades for us.
With our little adventure behind us, we absolutely love our new boat and now know more than ever we purchased from the right people (You and the team at Regina Marine).
PS, Once again we just love the double sun tops on the boat as with this weather they have been absolutely perfect for us and our passengers).
Mark purchased a pontoon package from us but wanted to upgrade the engine and a few other details. Read more of the story below…
Hey Steve the boat is a beauty!!! Got some hours on her yesterday and it’s an awesome ride!! No fish blood on it yet though! 30mph by the gps trimmed up at 5800 rpm with just me in the boat and a full tank of fuel!! Awesome! And 20mph with 10 adults! First class experience all around dealing with you and your staff! We appreciate everything you and your staff did to get us what we needed and our way!! Will talk to you next week.
Don has purchased multiple boats from Regina Marine and had this to say after ordering a part…
Craig, Steve, & Paul,
It’s a pleasure doing business with you guys. I have bought four boats from you over the years. All four boats treated me very well being the fourth boat a Crestliner 1800 Super Hawk.
I have asked a lot of questions and always got an answer. There is a lot of knowledge there. When it comes to service its 100%+. When dropping off a boat for winterizing or just for service you are all over it. When the work is done you have always given me a call to come and pick it up. Once I get to your shop you would explain to me the items that were fixed on the boat and also the cost of them.
The other day (Tuesday) I ordered a trim switch for the control handle. You mentioned you would have to order it since you didn’t have it in stock. By noon on Thursday I had the trim Switch sitting on my office desk here in Weyburn. That’s good service. That means a lot.
Keep up the good work guys. Its great dealing with a bunch of knowledgeable people who take pride in their work.

Ron had a significant problem on Thursday evening. He called us Friday morning. We told him to bring it in immediately. We took a new gearcase off one of our new engines instead of waiting for the one that was being shipped to us for warranty. He had his boat back on his lift Friday evening. This is what Ron had to say…
Craig, Paul, and Steve,
I just wanted to send a quick note to once again thank you and the entire team at Regina Marine for completing the repair on my pontoon motor so quickly and on such short notice on a hot Friday afternoon.
I know firsthand how high customer expectations can be, and how difficult they can be to meet – let alone beat! But you guys did just that, and for that I am extremely grateful.
My positive experience was shared with my neighbours this past weekend, as the quick turnaround was noticed by many on the lake.
Some dealerships get it, and some do not and it is clear which camp Regina Marine belongs to.
Jim was looking to improve the ride of his boat and gain a little performance at the same time. After a propeller switch (and a hug) this is what he had to say…
In 2014 I bought a new 1650 Fishhawk from Regina Marine. In the last 2 years I had a bit of an issue with how the boat handled. I thought maybe the weight and balance of the boat was wrong so I tried different things, to no avail. I talked with Steve about the problem. After discussing the problem with Steve he came up with a solution. I can’t believe the wealth of knowledge he has about boats. Dealing with Steve and Regina Marine has been an absolute pleasure. I now have a 1650 Crestliner Fishhawk that performs beyond my expectations. I will never deal anywhere else and I suggest to anyone thinking of buying a boat to talk to Steve at Regina Marine first. They won’t be sorry.
Thank you for all your help Steve.
Murray purchased his 5th boat (his first boat from Regina Marine) and this is what he had to say…
I just completed a survey sent to me by Crestliner. It reminded me that I have not taken the time to personally express my thanks for the great experience I encountered with you folks in purchasing my new boat. This 1850 Sportfish is the 5th boat I have owned; purchasing it was by far the best experience yet for me. Steve, you were patient, responsive and very knowledgeable. Patient, in answering all my questions, helping me make a decision, demonstrating and showing me the products, explaining various aspects of each, open to questions and showed an in-depth knowledge of the product lines and their specific uses. Thanks very much.
When I picked up the boat, all features were explained and I was given the time necessary to have all questions answered and received sound advice.
Additionally, the other staff members were always professional and willing to discuss issues.
As mentioned, this was the fifth boat I have purchased, but by far the best experience in making a purchase. Thanks very much.
The Flannigan’s had an unfortunate mishap right before the long weekend. We helped them get back on the water and this is what they had to say…
In June we bought our new boat from Steve. It was just a really relaxing and exciting experience! We were just getting ready to go on holidays for the July 1st week to enjoy our new boat, we were 2 days into our holiday and we had an accident with our boat. We thought our holiday with the boat was over. My husband called Regina Marine just to see what they could do and they told us to email a picture of the broken engine part. They ended up not having the part we needed in stock. They ended up taking the piece off of one of their stock engines and just gave it to us. Well just to let you know we all went back out to the lake and enjoyed the rest of our trip with our new boat. It seems like they are all about the customer!
Thank you from the Flanagan Family.
Dan and Meghan were great customers to deal with. They had a mishap with their boat before they even got to use it. We fixed them up and this is what they had to say…
Thanks so much guys for the awesome work on the boat & getting us back on the water Friday.
We had a great day on Saturday & I actually caught the first fish of the boat (even after Dan had been trying for 3 days). Appreciate your service & very happy we went local for the boat purchase.
Thanks so much again,
Megan & Dan
The Hart family gave us one of the best reviews we have received over the years. Here is what they had to say about buying a boat from Regina Marine…
We just wanted to send a short note regarding the decision making and buying experience from Steve and the staff at Regina Marine.
We had some knowledge about boats but were essentially rookies never owning our own boat. It took us only 2 short weeks and we looked at any and all brands that were available to us – Crestliner, Tracker, Lund, Legend, Alumacraft, etc…We must have made 4 or 5 trips to your showroom to speak with Steve about Crestliner, specifically the 2013 Crestliner 1650 Fish Hawk and the 90hp Mercury Optimax motor. Steve’s easy manner, friendliness, product knowledge and trust in his brand – made the final choice of Crestliner and Regina Marine an easy one.
This type of purchase is a dream for many, us included – when I mentioned that my wife had back surgery a year ago and was still recovering, he stated right away, “you will want to have an air ride seat to help soften any rough waves.” – WOW – he listened, heard our concern and immediately recommended and provided a solution…We can say from my this expansive shopping experience – not one other dealer or their staff listened to our comments and recommended a solution, even though we saw the product in the showroom…again making Regina Marine an easy choice.
I can say after many phone calls to other dealers and looking at at least 35 different fishing boats and packages– Regina Marine orders their boats very nicely optioned/equipped with everything a fisherman could want and the parts guys have all the right extras and little things to make this purchase easy…they know what is needed to make your purchase and the use of your boat an amazing experience…
Finally, the day we put it all together, We were standing in the showroom purchasing our new personal PFD’s and Steve says “you guys are going to be even happier, Crestliner is starting a special promo I will have to make some changes, but I can get you guys in on it.” WOW, we knew nothing about it, it wasn’t on the Crestliner website, so he could have kept it for the dealer as the sale was already made…talk about honesty and integrity…Regina Marine has it in spades…what an easy choice.
The day we picked it up – because they understood we were rookies – they took as long as needed to explain all the features of our boat, how they worked, helped to create a checklist and routine, hitch the boat to the trailer, checks lights, etc…a full orientation and great way to create a customer for life.
We have now had the boat only 2 days…we have about 12 hours of fishing time on the water and say 4 hours of boating time…everything works as it should, the boat is awesome, loads of power and we have our unloading routine in place…and the little tricks about tying a control line to a front and rear cleat for better control on a dock is priceless…the folks at Regina Marine could have said go look it up on the internet BUT they AGAIN took the time to show, explain and assist…what an easy choice.
I was asked by a friend while on Last Mountain Lake on Saturday – why Regina Marine? I told him exactly what I stated above…no pressure, honest, integrity, knowledge – everything a family could want in making a dream purchase…
If anyone (potential customer) wants to speak to a current owner please send them our way, we would be more than willing to share our experience with them…

Bart and Gaye Ritchie purchased a new pontoon boat from us. Like most pontoon shoppers they were a little intimidated but knew they would enjoy one. After using their new Premier 221 Gemini this is what they had to say…
Dear Regina Marine,
Gaye and I just wanted to thank you and the folks at Regina Marine for helping us find the right kind of pontoon boat. I was able to take the boat out twice last week and enjoyed a day of fishing and then a day of cruising at Regina Beach with Gaye. Gaye has taken to the boat very well and felt very comfortable in handling it on the water after a fairly short tour of the functions and features of the boats operation. We were both very taken with the level of comfort the pontoon boat offered and how it handled despite the relatively windy day.
Your knowledge of the products you sell and your first hand experiences really expanded my level of understanding of this class of boat and went a long way into choosing the right long term investment in a boat to meet my current and future needs. The Gemini model and how your firm configured it has fulfilled all of the items on my wish list while providing a quality boat, an excellent set of features and all at a competitive price. I was really impressed with the full service scope, especially the added touches of taking care of all the paperwork around registration and warranty.
I have already recommended Regina Marine to several folks who have asked about the Gemini and would not hesitate to continue to do so.
Again, a very heartfelt thank you to you and the folks at Regina Marine. Gaye and I are looking forward to having our family and friends enjoy the summer boating season.
